Man Falls From Roof in Vernon

According to courant.com, a man who was doing maintenance on his roof fell about 15 to 20 feet around 11:30 am on Saturday. When police arrived at the house, the man was awake and responsive, but his condition appeared to decline as he was taken to Hartford Hospital by Lifestar helicopter. The house is a single family home on the Hartford Turnpike along Route 30. Police haven't yet released the man's name or age.
