One Car Crash That Split Car In Half

On Monday Morning in Trumbull, three teenagers were rushed to Bridgeport Hospital after a serious car crash. Police said that the accident happened at about 1:30am when the car slid and hit a tree. The red coupe that was involved in the car was split in two, with the engine on one side of the median and the rest of the car on the other side. The crash left one lane of the Route 8 north, closed for about four hours after the fact. Lucas Ananias, who was in the car, suffered serious injuries and was take to the Bridgeport Emergency Hospital and brought into the operating room, but there is no other information his condition. Douglas Onori, 18, suffered internal injuries and Saudy Ramirez, 17, suffered from injuries to the face. Police say that the three individuals injuries are not life-threatening. Police are still investigating the crash, but so far they say that speed was definitely a big factor.
