Priscilla Renea

Priscilla is a pop-ish music writer. She was the child of parents that were in the Navy. She went to over twenty schools during her childhood. Yet, in every school she always joined the choir or theater groups. As a high-schooler she won her first musical theater competition. Once her father gave her a guitar for Christmas and that is when she realized that she had a natural talent for music.

Priscila has been self promoting herself on myspace and youtube for the past year. Her youtube visitors reached over 1.6 million views. She now is signed with Power/Capitol Records. Her debut EP Hello My Apple was released on March 31st. Her full length album is coming out later this summer.

The EP contains three songs: Hello my Apple, I Fell in Love, and Cry. All of the songs showcase Priscilla's vocal range. Also, she brings a new element of using sound effects in her music. For instance, in Hello My Apple she uses a background noise of someone biting an apple. Also in Cry she uses rain in the background. Her style is very unique. I would give her a 4 out of 5.
