Woman Struck By Car, Seriously Injured

According to courant.com, police are looking for the driver of a car that hit a 34-year-old woman in Hartford. The accident happened on Tuesday morning, right on Blue Hills Avenue. According to police, the woman's car broke down in the northbound lane at about 6:15 am and she was walking to the back of the vehicle where she was hit by a car that didn't stop. The Farmington woman was found lying in the road by a person passing by, who called police. The woman has been taken to St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, which is in Hartford and was in stable condition.
