Deadly Attack in Hartford Leaves Student Dead

A 19 year old student taking a break from class in the Urban League of Greater Hartford was stabbed multiple times by three males who approached him.

According to Courant.com, the stabbing occurred around 11 a.m. on Wednesday outside the building on Woodland Street, as the student was taking a break from his General Education Development class.

According to Police Daryl K. Roberts, the teen was targeted by someone he knew, and the attackers were lying in wait, ready to attack the teen when he was most vulnerable or alone.

The teen suffered severe neck and chest wounds and was pronounced dead around 2:45 p.m Thursday.

Why do people feel the need to always incorporate violence into their lives? This is such a sad story, I hear about stabbings on the news all the time and it just annoys me that our society has to be so violent :(
