Marlborough Fire Department Chicken BBQ Draws Crowds

Those driving through Marlborough on Sunday, October 2nd may have noticed a large group of cars and police in the center of town. While this sounds like it could be a bad traffic accident or a store break-in, think again; it was simply the day of the Marlborough Fire Department's annual chicken BBQ.

Fire fighters had been travelling the roads of Marlborough for weeks prior to the BBQ, going door to door to sell meal tickets. Each of the meals served included a half-chicken, a baked potato, cole slaw, and a small dessert.
