Class Size

This year's RHAM High School freshman class is the largest in the school. The freshman class consists of 321 students while there are only 278 sophomores, 239 juniors, and 264 seniors. The average kids per classroom has gone from 16 to 18 last year to about 18 to 20 this year. Also the classes are only getting bigger. The incoming freshman class has 326 kids and the following class has 339 kids, and that is not including people who may move into the area.

Yet Mr. Wilson says that the next few years will be growth years then the numbers are predicted to flatten out and then finally decline.

Stay tuned to RHAM News for a follow up story.
