According to CNN.com, a day after an attack on the capital by various insurgents, a widespread series of violence has struck the nation of Iraq. The bombings and shootings have left 6 people dead, consisting of five construction workers in Samarra, and one Iraqi brigadier general in western Baghdad. 21 other people were wounded in roadside bombings and public violence.
