Dig for the Cure happened at RHAM High School on Tuesday, October 21st. Dig for the Cure was an event, hosted by RHAM Volleyball to benefit cancer research. RHAM Volleyball played Rocky Hill but there was one change on the court that was very noticeable: The Sachems were not wearing their usual uniforms - they were wearing pink uniforms, which showed their support in the event. RHAM Volleyball also wanted their fans to wear pink to the game to show their support for the cause. Donations were collected at the door and the proceeds from the event will be donated to breast cancer research.
The RHAM varsity team defeated Rocky Hill in 3 straight games to win the match. RHAM is now 16-0.
