Music Review-Mishon
Mishon is a 15 year old who is just starting to break out into the music world. Even though he is only a teenager he has his first single "Excuse Me Mama" out now, and plays the younger brother on ABC Family's "Lincoln Heights". Even though he is a very successful actor, Mishon says that singing has always been his first love.
Mishon's first album is called "Yearbook" and will be coming out this fall. So far his first single, "Excuse Me Mama", shows his incredible talent. The song is all about how he is trying to get the attention of a girl and will do whatever it takes, even going up to her mother. The song is very upbeat and relatable to teenagers. Since Mishon is 15 he relates to a high school age group. His song talks about going to the mall, seeing a cute girl, and just being a teenager. The song has a Hip hop and R&B sound to it. Mishon says that his biggest inspirations are Usher,Michael Jackson and Boyz II Men. And when you here the song you can definitely see where his inspiration came from. After watching the music video Mishon reminded me of a younger Chris Brown, which he has been related to often. Mishon said that he is flattered to be related to such a famous artist, but definitely has his own style. He can dance and sing like Chris Brown, but has more of a connection to a younger high school group since he is younger. If you're looking for a upbeat dancing kind of song defiantly check out Mishons first single "Excuse Me Mama".
