Twilight Sequel Release Date Has Been Announced
According to courant.com, fans of the new movie, Twilight, don't have to wait a long time to see its sequel called New Moon. New Moon is scheduled to be released twelve months after the first movie and it is going to be released on November 20th, 2009 during the same weekend, when Twilight was released. Summit Entertainment has picked Chris Weitz to direct the sequel, based on Stephenie Meyer's best-selling series about the romance between Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, who happens to be a vampire and is fighting his bloodsucking instincts to be with Bella. Chris Weitz is taking over as director from Catherine Hardwicke, who directed the first movie. Twilight has been brought up to $150 million at the box office, ever since the movie premiered on November 21st.
