Phillip Menefee from Portage, Indiana was apprehended by the police at 1 am with a stolen Christmas tree on the front of his motorcycle. The police had been investigating a loud motor noise reported around the area of a Christmas tree lot. The police found him intoxicated. During questioning he said that he had purchased the tree. The tree, that still had the tag on, was returned to the lot.
