Lions Lions - From What We Believe REVIEW

It's hard to mention the Boston hardcore scene without mentioning the members of the band Lions Lions. The Massachusetts locals come straight from the heart of bands such as VANNA, Therefore I Am, and A Loss for Words. Following their last EP "Direction" fans expected much out of this unique group.

From What We Believe (Panic Records) is sure to please. From the beginning of the CD to the end, nothing falls short of expectations. The group seemed to stray from the experimental aspect of their music and shifted towards a heavier, but sometimes acoustic sound. Listeners will be surprised at the shift from the beauty of the song "Tumbling" to the intense breakdown stocked song "Angels with Dirty Faces". The songs do transition into each other wonderfully nonetheless.

Also, be prepared to hear new renditions of songs from "Direction". Waves and Nothing Can Stop Us, simply put are great. I recommend this album to anyone who comes across it.
