8 Libyan Warships Destroyed by NATO

According to CNN:

Thursday night saw Libya being repeatedly bombed by NATO jets, an attack which destroyed 8 warships belonging to Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi. The ships were targeted in Sirte, Al-Khums, and Tripoli when it became evident that the ships were being used to attack civilians. NATO spokesman Mike Bracken stated that Gadhafi was hampering the flow of humanitarian aid by using the ships to install mines in the waters of Misrata. He also stated that NATO's campaign was progressing and Gadhafi's forces had been significantly weakened. Despite this, Libyan military forces continued to bomb the Tunisian border, causing the border crossing for aid to close.
