UK police ordered tranquilizers and scrambled helicopters to hunt what they believed was an escaped tiger in Southern England. The Hampshire police say they responded to multiple calls from residents claiming that they had seen a white tiger in a field. It became apparent to the officers that the tiger was actually a life sized stuffed toy. However, it was stressed that the officers responded appropriately to the possible threat.
