Convenience Store Clerk Shot In Manchester, CT

According to courant.com, a convenience store clerk has been admitted to the hospital after a shooting at the Super convenience store on Hartford Avenue on Sunday night. Police wouldn't confirm if the shooting happened during an attempted robbery. The clerk has identified as Avrang Zaib-Sahib by family members at the scene. He was working alone when the shooter entered the store around 6 pm and shot him. According to police, customers that were inside the store during the shooting called 911. Zaib-Sahib's condition isn't known at this time, but according to family members, he's unconscious and fighting for his life. Family members have said that Zaib-Sahib is in his mid-30s and has two children and another on the way. The store's owner, Mirza Baig said that the store is a family-owned business and Zaib-Sahib is family.
