Macabre Art Show Review

The opening of the Addams Family Gathering, a macabre art show, was held on Friday October 2 in Middletown. It was a place of true excitement on Friday. The place was nearly packed to capacity, which gave some difficulty looking at the exhibits. However, the pieces on
display at the show were exquisite. The only requirement for the pieces was that they had to have something to do with the Addams Family. Two RHAM teachers had pieces on display. Ms. Carrie Swider made a large abstract sculpture entitled "Morticia's Garden," seen above. Ms. Shelley Osowiecki created three watercolor paintings of Wednesday Addams, the daughter of the family. One of the paintings and Ms. Osowiecki can be seen above. The art show will continue to be held at 650 Main Street in Middletown weekends October 9-23 from 11am until 3 pm. This show is highly recommended people of all walks of life.
