Windsor Locks murder charges

According to www.courant.com: On Sunday afternoon at around 5:30pm Stephen Anderson was arrested and charged with the murder of his neighbor Danny Lefebvre. According to the Windsor Locks Police Chief, John Suchocki, Anderson is being held on a one million dollar bond. Anderson is also charged with giving a false statement and interfering with police. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday at 10 a.m. The murder Anderson was charged for occurred on Friday. According to the article in the Courant, Anderson had helped Lefebvre bandage his knee after it was injured from his two pit bulls on Thursday. As a way of thanking Anderson, Lefebvre took him and his step father out for drinks. Arnold Mercy, Anderson's step father, heard a commotion outside later that night a little after midnight on Friday. When Mercy looked outside the window he saw a hooded man slamming Lefebvre's face onto the asphalt. By the time Mercy was able to reach the scene the man had fled. Lefebvre was later pronounced dead at Hartford hospital.
