Zombieland Review

Selling $25 million in ticket sales at the box office this weekend, Zombieland proved to be a hit. Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg star in this hilarious thrasher movie. The premise of the movie is that a virus has infected most of the human population and thus turned them into Zombies who feed on human flesh. The only remaining survivors are few and far between. The movie begins with a young man, Columbus(Eisenberg) who seems to be afraid of living, so surviving is just a matter of running away. He meets up with macho-man Talahassee(Harrelson), who is afraid of nothing; including killing Zombies. The dynamic between the two characters makes for a very funny and entertaining movie. However, this movie is not for the faint of heart. Although it was incredibly funny the Zombies are very bloody, very scary, and very realistic. The movie had just the right amount of terrorizing and comedic moments to leave the patrons with a pleased smile on their faces. 4.5 out of 5 stars
