RHAM Archery Club

Today, Thursday October 1, the RHAM Archery Club had its first official meeting. Students met the club advisor, Mr. Serrell-Dube, and headed out to the red maintenance barn on the edge of campus. There they unpacked the new Genesis compound bows and went around behind the barn to set up the shoot. Students were coached on proper stance, how to hold the bow correctly and how to shoot. Each student had two turns to shoot, firing four arrows each time.

The picture to the left is an example of a Genesis compound bow the students were using today.

The club will be meeting every Thursday after school for a practice shoot.
