4 Arrested in Ireland Car Bomb Investigation

According to CNN:

Police in the Republic of Ireland announced on Wednesday that they had arrested 4 for a car bomb found on the border of Northern Ireland. The car was found near Dundalk on one of the nation's busiest roadways on Tuesday night. It was intercepted heading north, and police feared that the target was North Ireland. The motorway was closed as the army conducted what Captain Pat O'Connor described as "a technically difficult task that took over four hours in freezing conditions." On Wednesday morning the scene was declared safe and the device was confiscated for further examination.
