Glastonbury Police Seek Witnesses In Fatal Hit-And-Run

According to courant.com, police are looking for witnesses to a fatal hit-and-run incident that happened December 3rd on Hebron Avenue in Glastonbury. Police have released a photo of the car that was involved in the accident that killed 43-year-old East Hartford resident Christopher Blanchard. Police are requesting anyone who recognizes the car or has any knowledge of the incident to call 860-633-8301. The car drove away from the scene, but was later found by police. According to police, Blanchard was riding his bike by the Route 2 overpass when he was hit by a car right before 8 pm. Police took Blanchard to Hartford Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
