On Thursday December 16, at about 9:00 am, a fight broke out between two large groups of students. The fight was said to be started when an individual started to "trash talk" another student. The talk then led to punches between the two groups. Manchester High School was locked down for about an hour to secure the school. Police will be present at the high school throughout the day on Friday because they are worried about any other possible acts of violence that might fallow the fight.
